“Protect them?! But why? My status compared to them—” Before Jin Lin could say more, his father gave him a slap.

“These are the servants of the goddess! Show some respect!” Jin Ding said.

Tianming quietly watched it all. After Zi Zhen dealt with their targets, he would have her teach Jin Lin a harsh lesson.

Zi Zhen, Jin Shang, and Jin Xiao charged ahead. Tianming gave Moran a look and held her hand. “Don’t worry. There’s no need to be nervous.”

“Okay,” she said, nodding. “I’m not worried as long as you’re around.”

“Good.”

“However, I don’t want to become an overflower that soon,” she said unprompted.

“Why?”

“I feel like that would widen the distance between me and you….”

Tianming gave her head a little shake and said, “Did you hit your head on something? As slow as I am, I’ll still end up reaching the Overflow stage before you do. I think you shouldn’t hold yourself back. You should try harder!”

Moran merely speechlessly looked at him.

“Damn, I think the fight is getting intense.” Tianming could feel the entire eye of heaven shake. It was a fight between third- and fourth-level overflowers!

“Will people outside notice all the commotion?” Moran asked, worried.

“They should be able to. That’s why we have to hope that Zi Zhen finishes things fast. You have to be ready to absorb their divine wonders as well,” Tianming said.

“Aurumites?” A group of smiling people in white robes saw two aurumites charge toward them without warning. The wonderians all glowed with radiant starlight like celestial beings! They were completely untouchable in the Ancient Oldgod Domain, so they were full of smiles and completely relaxed, only to be shocked by the sudden appearance of two hostiles.

“Those are remnants!”

“I know them. One’s called Jin Xiao, the other’s Jin Shang. They’re father and son! Jin Xiao used to be the second-strongest person in God Domain One.”

“He isn’t even the strongest, yet he’s charging at us with a death wish?”

“Don’t they know that we’re wonderians from the apex Yugong Clan?”

Three men and women among the group of wonderians stood out from the rest with their forty-meter-tall bodies. The men were handsome and the women charming, but they seemed to share many features. Their eyes were like a pale sea of white with gazes that looked into the endless distance. The three pairs were all fourth-level overflowers.

Each pair had split up rather than remaining in their fused, androgynous form. Whether they counted as three fighters or six was for the wonderians to decide. Either way, that still made for six powerful divine wonders.

The other wonderians were second- and third-level overflowers, all of them stronger than Zhoutian Shenhai had been. They had no doubt assimilated more overflow fragments than Jin Xiao and the rest, hence their strength.

“Once we capture them, we can basically wipe out all the remnants of God Domain One!” A man from the Yugong Clan ordered them to engage. Jin Xiao was only a fourth-level overflower, so he wasn’t much of a threat.

The six people came charging toward Jin Xiao as they manifested six high-fortuna-class divine wonders around the battlefield.

“I really wonder what they’re thinking!” The wonderians simply couldn’t fathom what had made the aurumites lose their minds and reveal themselves. But right as they struck, they heard many cries of pain from behind.

“What?!” The six of them turned around and were immediately shaken by the sight.

“What kind of specter is that?!”

“I don’t know!”

They watched as a twenty-four-meter-tall girl with purple hair killed one pair of wonderians after another with her seemingly soft punches. Not to mention, she didn’t seem to be explicitly targeting any Yugongs, only batting away those that tried to get in her way. Instead, she had her eyes on the six fourth-level overflowers.

“A third-level overflower? Do we have another suicidal one?”

“Who gave you three the balls to come at us, eh?!”

The wonderians weren’t fearful in the least. Given their combat capability, even if all the aurumites appeared to encircle them, they were rather certain that they would be able to completely wipe them out. They were so powerful that they couldn’t understand why a third-level girl would suicidally kill some wonderians right off the bat.

“None of our wonderians have perished in the Ancient Oldgod Domain since the Nightfiend was captured! Since you dared to break the taboo once more, you’ll suffer a most horrible end, or we wonderians would’ve lost face for nothing!”

One couple turned around and coldly faced Zi Zhen, while the others remained to deal with Jin Xiao. Their divine wonders surged with power. There was nothing but ice-cold fury on their lofty and inviolable faces. Victory was at hand… until the girl suddenly transformed!

With audible snaps, the twenty-four-meter-tall girl turned into a purple combat fiend around sixty meters in height, completely covered in bony, spiked scales and countless sharp hairs! She sported a huge tail that was forty meters long, complementing her sharp fangs, three eyes, and nine irises. She had turned from a harmless looking girl to an absolute monstrosity!

It only took an instant. The wonderians knew that she was only a third-level overflower, but she was emanating an incredibly terrifying aura that was so overwhelming that even the six fourth-level overflowers felt chills. One of Zi Zhen’s ninehall eyes opened at the center of her forehead. It was no longer an eye, but a vortex of death!

“What is that thing?!”

“No idea!”

“Let’s kill it and make a report!”

“Yugong Wushang, Yugong Wuyou, come aid us!”

The wonderians quickly reacted, but right as they finished speaking, the purple fiend was already before them. A thick purple mist instantly surrounded the battlefield. Tianming even felt the violent waves of conflict from a distance away.

“Zi Zhen, someone outside noticed us! Hurry up!” Tianming informed her through Yin Chen.

The sound of combat grew louder and louder and reverberated throughout, then it all suddenly ceased.

“What’s going on?” Tianming asked.

“She said… you can… go absorb… the divine… wonders now!” Yin Chen said.

“That was fast!” Tianming was delightfully surprised. “She’s amazing, but I’m even more amazing because she does what I say! Hahahaha!”
